Geothermal is among the fastest growing renewable energy technologies with annual increases of 30% to 88% over the past two years according to Natural Resources Canada.

The Government of Canada announced that, effective March 31, 2010; the federal ecoENERGY Retrofit program is no longer accepting new bookings for pre-retrofit evaluations. The ecoENERGY program will continue to process applications from homeowners who have scheduled or completed a pre-retrofit evaluation and who will be undertaking energy efficiency improvements on their homes and apply for a grant before March 31, 2011.
